About the Shippensburg Symphony Festival Series: The Shippensburg Festival is an annual summer series of three concerts featuring artists of international renown. On hiatus since 2020 due to the pandemic, the festival returns in 2023 with three fantastic concerts. See full festival information here.

The Shippensburg Festival Celebration Series is made possible by the Dr. Jean V. Johnston Memorial Fund established with the Shippensburg University Foundation. Dr. Johnston’s interest in promoting the cultural arts and her love of classical music led her to serve as a board member of the Festival Chamber Orchestra Association for many years. She recognized Shippensburg University’s important role in setting the cultural tone of the region.
