The H. Ric Luhrs Performing Arts Center in partnership with the Center for Land Use and Sustainability (CLUS) proudly presents a screening of: Common Ground.
Common Ground is the highly anticipated sequel to the juggernaut success documentary Kiss the Ground, which touched over 1 billion people globally and inspired the United States Department of Agriculture to put $20 billion toward soil health. Common Ground reveals how unjust practices forged our current farm system in which farmers are literally dying to feed us. The film profiles a hopeful and uplifting movement of black, white, and indigenous farmers who are using alternative “regenerative” models of agriculture that could balance the climate, save our health, and stabilize America’s economy – before it’s too late.
An expert panel discussion will follow the film, featuring:
- Eric Finkenbinder, Channel 27 News Chief Meteorologist and farmer (moderator)
- Will Brownback, Spiral Path Farm
- Tiana Zabela-Lopez, GoggleWorks Center for the Arts
- Lucas Waybright, PASA Dairy Grazing Project Manager, PASA

- Kat English, Rock Hill Heritage Farm of Hershey
