About the Shippensburg Festival Symphony:  For over 30 years (with a brief hiatus due to Covid) professional musicians from orchestras including the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra, Maryland Symphony Orchestra, Philadelphia Orchestra and others have gathered to form the Shippensburg Festival Orchestra under the baton of renowned guest conductors.  This year Lawrence Loh, former conductor with the Pittsburgh Symphony, Dallas Symphony and Colorado Symphony, and current music director of the Syracuse Symphony and Waco Symphony, leads the orchestra in a film concert series, A Night at the Oscars on July 18^th and E.T. The Extra Terrestrial In Concert on July 20^th.
